SUFFERN, NY. The annual Village of Suffern Holiday Parade, which kicked off the holiday season in Rockland County, drew hundreds of locals to Lafayette Avenue on Saturday.
First responder vehicles marched in the parade, along with holiday-themed floats and performances by the Suffern High School Band and the Rockland County Police Emerald Society Pipes & Drums Band.
The celebration, which has grown into a beloved custom for the neighborhood, was attended by Chief Assistant District Attorney Patrick Frawley and District Attorney Tom Walsh.
The parade committee, town employees, and Mayor Michael Curley were honored for their efforts in planning the event, which drew participants and locals from all around the region.
