Suitland Man Shot Multiple Times Dead in D.C.


WASHINGTON — A 30-year-old man from Suitland, Maryland, was fatally shot late Tuesday night in Southeast D.C., prompting an investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department.

Officers from the Seventh District responded to reports of gunfire around 10:52 p.m. on November 5 in the 3300 block of 6th Street, Southeast. Upon arrival, police found Keion Naylor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead despite extensive life-saving efforts.

Detectives have not released any information on potential suspects or motive as the case remains under investigation.


The department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099 or to send an anonymous text tip to 50411.
