Suspects caught on camera in fatal Northeast D.C. shooting




Washington, D.C. As detectives attempt to solve the murder of a 28-year-old man earlier this month, surveillance footage of individuals connected to a fatal shooting in Northeast Washington, D.C., was made public Thursday.

The incident happened in the 100 block of 44th Street, Northeast, on Friday, November 1 at around 3:54 a.m. When police arrived, they discovered Dwaun Simpson, a resident of Southeast Washington, D.C., unresponsive from a gunshot wound. He was declared deceased at the scene by DC Fire and EMS.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that results in the arrest and conviction of the offending individual or individuals.
