BALTIMORE, MD — A shooting early Sunday morning in Baltimore’s Southern District left a 19-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man wounded, prompting an investigation by homicide detectives due to the severity of the injuries, officials said.
Officers responded to the unit block of West Hamburg Street at approximately 3:43 a.m. on October 27, where they found the young woman suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Shortly afterward, around 4:14 a.m., police were called to the hospital, where they encountered a 28-year-old man who had also sustained gunshot wounds. Investigators determined he had been shot at the same West Hamburg Street location.
