Teen stabbed in Brooklyn street attack; suspect flees on foot

Brooklyn, New York.Authorities say they are looking for a guy who stabbed a 17-year-old teenager on a Williamsburg street earlier this month in broad daylight.

Around 4 p.m. on Friday, November 1, the attack took place close to 245 North 8th Street. Before escaping west on North 8th Street toward Roebling Street, the suspect allegedly approached the adolescent, brandished a knife, and stabbed him in the left thigh, according to the NYPD.

After being transported by emergency medical services to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, the victim received treatment and was declared stable, according to officials.

According to police, the suspect is a man with a thin body and a dark complexion. When last seen, he was dressed in a black and gray sweatsuit, black socks, and a black Nike mask.

As they attempt to identify the culprit, investigators are urging anyone with information regarding the incident or the suspect to get in touch with the appropriate authorities.
