Tennessee Weekend Weather: Sunny Skies Friday, Rain Returns Monday Night

Nashville, Tennessee Residents of middle Tennessee can anticipate a sunny and pleasant weekend before Monday night’s increased likelihood of rain. Rain is expected to arrive early next week, and temperatures will rise into the upper 60s on Friday before progressively decreasing by Sunday.

The National Weather Service predicts that Friday will be sunny with a high of about 67 degrees Fahrenheit. The southwest will see a minor increase in wind, with morning gusts of up to 25 mph. With a low of 44 F, Friday night will continue to be largely cloudy.

On Saturday, there will be more sunlight, but the high temperature will drop a little to 53 degrees Fahrenheit. Five to ten miles per hour winds will shift to the north. Low temperatures on Saturday night will dip to 26 degrees Fahrenheit, with largely clear skies.

With a high of 48 degrees Fahrenheit, Sunday will be another bright day but a little colder. As the temperature drops to 31 degrees Fahrenheit tonight, the winds will subside in the evening. Cloud cover is likely to rise by Monday, with a 20% chance of showers after noon. With southeast winds turning south at 10 mph, the high temperature will rise to 59 F.

Monday night, there is a 30% chance of rain with gusts of up to 20 mph. Thunderstorms are possible, and showers are expected to last until Tuesday. Tuesday is expected to see highs in the mid-60s with a 60% chance of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service.
