Texas Panhandle Winter Weather Alert: Snow and Ice Expected Through Wednesday

Texas’s Amarillo The Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles are under a winter weather advisory, meaning that snow and ice will likely cause dangerous conditions until Wednesday morning.

The Amarillo National Weather Service reports that the advisory will be in force from Monday at midnight until Wednesday at noon. The northern Panhandles could see ice accumulations of 0.01 to 0.05 inches on Tuesday and Wednesday, and snow accumulations of one to two inches on Wednesday.
