Houston, Texas Following a startling alleged crime spree that left two women frightened for their life, a YouTuber with millions of followers was arrested. A 26-year-old Houston, Texas resident named Corey Pritchett Jr. is charged with kidnapping the women at gunpoint, pursuing them at high speed, and threatening them with death before leaving them on the side of the road. Pritchett was arrested and brought back to the United States after escaping to Qatar, where he is currently being charged with aggravated kidnapping.

A Day That Turned Into a Nightmare

According to reports, Pritchett first encountered the two women at a gym in the Houston region on November 24. What had begun as a lighthearted excursion swiftly became hazardous. After going bowling and riding ATVs with pals, the women saw a significant and concerning shift in Pritchett’s behavior.

He grew unstable and paranoid, saying he was being pursued, according to court filings. Pritchett didn’t drive the women home as he had intended; instead, he rushed off in the opposite way, traveling at more than 100 mph west on Interstate 10 toward San Antonio.

Threats, Gunfire, and Desperation

Pritchett allegedly produced a gold-colored revolver, waved it out of the sunroof, and fired bullets as the horrifying journey went on. He told the women that he planned to attack and murder them, according to the prosecution.

The women persuaded Pritchett to join them in prayer in a last-ditch effort to soothe him. He briefly agreed, but his unpredictable conduct and careless driving persisted. Finally, he pulled over and let the women out on the side of the road close to Brookshire, Texas.

Pritchett has amassed a following by posting family-friendly films, music, and comedy videos on his two YouTube channels, which now have over 5 million members. He has been a self-employed content developer for almost ten years, according to his financial affidavit.

A Chaotic Online Presence

Pritchett addressed the accusations in cryptic Instagram posts prior to his arrest. He called himself “accused” in one post and stated that he would be going back to the United States to face the allegations. Since then, his Instagram page has been removed.

When Pritchett next appears in court, he will be confronted with grave charges related to a case that has shocked his fan following. Authorities and the public are keeping a careful eye on developments as the judicial process continues.
