What is an SE LWB? The SE is the Standard Equipment edition of the Long Wheel Base LWB Range Rover SUV, built in the Solihull, UK assembly plant and sold worldwide by Land Rover. Ok then, who and what is Land Rover?

Land Rover is the parent automotive brand, with 7 different models in its lineup roster. Range Rover is just one of the Land Rover models, similarly to how a Mustang is just one of the many Ford models. So, the full Range Rover name would be the Land Rover Range Rover, just like the Ford Mustang is from the Ford Motor Company.

And how much do Range Rovers cost? Prices range from $49,900 for the entry level Range Rover Evoque, to $226,500 for the highest level Land Rover Range Rover trim. The options on the SUV are: the gloss paint for $1,300, the Meridian audio system for $1,200, the interior protection and storage pack for $725, the wheel protection pack for $220, the emergency pack for $75, and the handover pack for $65. The manufactures suggested retail price (MSRP), including the $1,625 destination charge, is: $118,610.

After adding in the state and local sales tax, plus the DMV and dealers fees, the out the door and in your garage total purchase price came to: $133,436. At $133 Grand and change, you get a luxury high performance SUV with the ability to off road in style and grace at the touch of a button. Really, nothing can stop a Range Rover from going anywhere you want to go, in the rain, sleet, mud, snow, or on any rocky road or trail.

Power for this SE edition comes from a 3.0 liter turbocharged and supercharged 6 cylinder gas engine with 395  horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, bolted to an 8 speed automatic transmission, with Noble metal plated gear shift paddles. Then routed into an all wheel drive (AWD) traction control system with a twin speed transfer case, with terrain response and selectable driving on and off road modes. This driveline comes with hill launch assist, low traction launch, electronic air suspension, adaptive driving dynamics, electric power assisted all wheel steering, and a set of 21″ alloy wheels with tire repair.

The comfort and convenience list is over 50 items long. It starts with the premium LED headlights and LED fog lamps, auto high beam assist, soft close doors, a power tailgate, a panoramic sun roof, Windsor leather covered seats, 4 zone climate control, a heated leather covered steering wheel, front power, heated, ventilated seats with memory, power, heated, ventilated and reclining rear seats, keyless entry and push button start. The interior includes a 13.1″ center stack display screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, Amazon Alexa, a wireless charging pad, an interactive driver display, Bluetooth, USB ports, and a Meridian 3D surround sound audio system with 19 loudspeakers and 825 watts of power, including front height speakers, and rear surround sound speakers that deliver life like and 3 dimensional sound immersion throughout the entire vehicle, side to side, front to back.
