Utah – Residents along I-15 between Cedar City and St. George should prepare for intense wind gusts tonight, potentially reaching up to 55 mph. The National Weather Service (NWS) warns that these winds, expected to peak overnight, could disrupt travel and cause unsecured items to become hazardous projectiles.

There’s a 40% chance of gusts exceeding 60 mph in certain zones, raising the risk of accidents for drivers, particularly those operating high-profile vehicles along I-15.

The NWS advises residents to secure outdoor objects to prevent damage or injuries, as these winds may continue through early Monday. For those planning travel along I-15, caution is urged, especially during the late-night hours.
