Baltimore, Maryland.Three fortunate Maryland Powerball players, who bought their tickets in Pasadena, Landover, and Takoma Park, are rejoicing after winning $50,000 third-tier prizes in the drawing on December 2.
In addition to the Powerball number 13 and an x2 Power Play multiplier, the winning numbers were 3, 9, 26, 61, and 67. The locations where the $50,000 tickets were sold were Landover Hills Exxon, located at 6579 Annapolis Road in Landover; John’s Liquor & General Store, located at 812 Duvall Highway in Pasadena; and 7-Eleven, located at 900 Merrimac Drive in Takoma Park.
With rewards ranging from $4 to the three $50,000 prizes, the Dec. 2 drawing yielded 9,459 winners in the state, according to the Maryland Lottery. Before claiming their prizes within 182 days, winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safely.
Over $25,000 prizes must be claimed in person or by mail at the Maryland Lottery’s Baltimore offices. For in-person claims, appointments must be made, which can be done online at the lottery’s website.
With a cash option of $113.6 million for the upcoming drawing on December 4, the Powerball jackpot is expected to reach $240 million.
