Three Arrested in High-Stakes Drug Bust; Police Seize 7 Guns and Multiple Drugs Including Fentanyl and Meth in Dayton

Authorities in Dayton conducted searches on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking. During the operation, detectives confiscated illegal drugs, weapons, and a significant amount of cash. Additionally, three individuals were arrested in connection with the case.

Authorities conducted search warrants at two locations in Dayton, Ohio – one on North Euclid Avenue and the other at the Wyoming Hills apartments on Wyoming Street. The operation was carried out by the Montgomery County Regional Agency Narcotics and Gun Enforcement task force, as stated in a press release by the sheriff’s office.

Three individuals have been apprehended and taken into custody, as they are currently facing initial charges related to drugs and weapons. They have been booked into the Montgomery County Jail.

“Illegal drugs and gun violence is a crisis that continues to plague our community,” Sheriff Rob Streck stated. “Public safety continues to be my top priority, which is why my office will continue to target individuals who are poisoning our neighborhoods, while curbing violent crime by taking guns out of the hands of criminals.”
