Three suspects arrested in unrelated Philadelphia homicide cases

The city of PhiladelphiaAuthorities said Wednesday that all suspects in three different homicide investigations in the city’s 22nd, 24th, and 25th Districts had been arrested and charged with murder and related offenses.

Talil Parker, 27, was charged in the first instance in relation to Joel Colon-Cruz’s fatal shooting on June 10, 2024. Inside the Kitchen Express Chinese Restaurant located on the 7xx block of E. Ontario Street, Colon-Cruz, 27, was shot and killed. According to the police, the attacker entered the restaurant wearing gloves and a mask before shooting the victim several times in the head and torso. Following a months-long investigation, Parker—who was already detained at Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility for parole violations—was charged.


In the second case, authorities discovered 25-year-old Tianna Wells dead from a neck wound inside her apartment on the 26xx block of N. 17th Street on June 16, 2021. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Quader Moore following a year-long investigation, and he was taken into custody on Wednesday in the 59xx block of N. 5th Street.

The third arrest relates to the shooting death of Nicholas Delgado, 34, on June 3, 2024. Delgado was shot in the leg on the 3000 block of Water Street and died at Temple University Hospital. The suspect, 36-year-old Ramon Rodriguez, was captured on Wednesday in the 32xx block of N. Phillip Street after escaping to a nearby rooftop. Rodriguez had been pursued for months.
