Towson carryout sells $50K Lottery top-prize

TOWSON, Md. The first top-prize victory in the game for 2025 was a $50,000 Bonus Match 5 top-prize ticket that was sold in Towson for the Thursday, January 2 drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery.

With Bonus Ball 14, the winning numbers were 5, 9, 11, 22, and 33. The fortunate ticket was bought in Baltimore County at Stoko’s, a carryout restaurant at 6821 Loch Raven Boulevard. The Maryland Lottery will give the store a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The game generated 36 top-prize winning tickets in 2024. The excitement for Bonus Match 5 players throughout the state is still going strong after this first victory of the year.
