Traffic lights out across Atlantic City due to electrical issue

New Jersey’s Atlantic City. The Atlantic City Police Department reports that several traffic lights are out across Atlantic City Monday morning while workers attempt to fix an electrical problem.

Although the precise cause of the outage is still unknown, Atlantic City Electric is responding to the situation. While not all crossroads have temporary stop signs, some have.

In order to minimize accidents, police are asking drivers to drive carefully and to regard all crossroads without operational traffic signals as four-way stops.

As the problem is rectified, drivers should continue to be vigilant and factor in additional travel time.
