Two New Jersey lottery players win $50K in Powerball drawing

NJ’s Trenton On Wednesday, November 27, two New Jersey lottery players won gold when they matched the Powerball with four white balls to win $50,000 each in the Powerball drawing.

According to lottery authorities, the winning tickets were bought at Archie’s Liquor on Main Avenue in Passaic, Passaic County, and Old Bridge Card Smart on U.S. Highway 9 in Old Bridge, Middlesex County. 01, 06, 07, 13, 40, and the Powerball 05 and Powerplay multiplier 5X were the winning numbers.

The $50,000 winnings bring attention to smaller but noteworthy prizes out for grabs in the multi-state game, even as the jackpot reward eluded participants once more and rolled over to an estimated $214 million for Saturday’s drawing.

No players matched the Double Play ball 13 with the numbers 19, 37, 41, 42, and 62 in the Double Play drawing, a feature that gives participating tickets additional chances to win up to $10 million.

Players were reminded to check their tickets for any possible rewards, and the New Jersey Lottery congratulated the most recent winners.
