Del. Wilmington.According to police, two males have been taken into custody by Delaware State Police in relation to an armed robbery that took place outside a liquor store in Wilmington last week.
After an investigation into the January 10 robbery in the parking lot of Hi-Way Inn Liquors on Governor Printz Boulevard, Eric McDuffie, 32, of New Castle, and Jamir Graham, 27, of Wilmington, were arrested on January 16, 2025.
Just before midnight, the victim was making his way back to his car when two masked guys approached him, according to the police. One suspect demanded the victim’s belongings while brandishing a weapon. The thieves took the victim’s possessions, then abruptly gave them back before driving off in a dark SUV.
Troop 2 detectives determined that McDuffie and Graham were the culprits and secured arrest warrants for them. After being safely captured, both men were taken to Troop 2, where they were officially charged.
Although the exact accusations have not been made public, authorities have verified that both individuals are charged with various felonies linked to the armed robbery.
