Two teens arrested in fatal Columbus shooting of 18-year-old




Columbus, OhioAccording to the Columbus Division of Police, two youths have been taken into custody in relation to the shooting death of 18-year-old Darnell Brown-Jones, who was discovered dead on Eton Grove earlier this month.

When police arrived on the scene of a shooting in the 900 block of Eton Grove on November 14, they found Brown-Jones unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the site by Columbus Division of Fire paramedics.

On November 19, police detained 19-year-old Giavon Hayes, and on November 21, they detained 18-year-old Mi Shawn Thomas. Although authorities have not disclosed information regarding the purpose or circumstances surrounding the occurrence, both individuals are charged with involvement in Brown-Jones’ killing.
