CRANFORD, NJ.The Exit 139 northbound entrance ramp was briefly closed Wednesday morning due to a vehicle fire on the Garden State Parkway northbound close to Exit 137 (Route 28, Cranford Township).
The incident started at approximately 10:49 a.m. and was reported at 10:56 a.m., according to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. According to the most recent data, all mainline lanes are still available.
The closure is being handled by emergency personnel who arrived on the scene. As of as now, no delays or injuries have been recorded.
