Wall Township police announce Halloween curfew for juveniles


WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Wall Township Police Department has issued a reminder to residents about a Halloween curfew that will be enforced between October 29 and November 1. The curfew prohibits juveniles from being on public streets or in public places between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Exceptions include traveling to or from work, handling a medical emergency, or attending a school, religious, or community-sponsored activity.

According to township ordinance 93-2, parents or guardians are also prohibited from allowing unaccompanied juveniles to be out during curfew hours. The curfew takes effect at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, and aims to ensure community safety during the Halloween festivities. Police are urging residents to familiarize themselves with the curfew regulations to avoid violations.
