WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Wall Township police reported a week-long string of arrests, including shoplifting, driving under the influence, and unresolved warrants.
David F. Taylor 2nd, 38, of Neptune, was taken into custody by Patrolman T.J. Powers on Monday, November 18, while conducting a traffic check on Route 138. Newark City Court issued a warrant for Taylor’s arrest. After processing, he was set free.
Later that week, on Tuesday, November 19, Patrolman Kevin Donegan pulled over Jose E. Huexotl-Mendez, 46, of Lakewood, on Allenwood Lakewood Road. After posting bond, he was freed from the arrest warrant issued by Lakewood Municipal Court. The same day, Melissa A. Flynn, 42, of Atlantic City, was taken into custody by Patrolman Alfredo Flores on a warrant issued by the Wall Township Municipal Court. Monmouth County Correctional Institution received her.
After that, several people were arrested for driving under the influence. Thomas A. Ganley, 58, of Sea Girt, was taken into custody by Patrolman Karleigh Cacciatore on November 21 following an accident on 18th Avenue, while Zachary S. Frankel, 24, of Wall Township, was taken into custody by Patrolman Joe Phillips on November 24 after a collision on Marconi Road. The same day, Oscar M. Chajon, 40, of Spring Lake Heights, was also pulled up for DWI on Route 34 by Patrolman Kevin Orender. John’s Law was used to process and release all three.
In other occurrences, on November 23, Patrolman Jerry Baker detained Toms River resident Richard W. Durham, 38, following an investigation into a disabled car on Interstate 195. Durham was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution after being discovered in possession of Adderall and Xanax without a legitimate prescription. Kenneth Burke, 54, of Camden, was also taken into custody by Patrolman Alfredo Flores on November 24 for shoplifting at the ShopRite on Route 35. After processing, Burke was sent free.
