Watch: Thieves Steal $118,000 in Handbags from New Jersey Store in the Middle of the Night

New Jersey’s Sussex County. The proprietor of the e-commerce dealership Lizsonnenbags claims that three burglars stole $118,700 worth of luxury bags, belts, and shoes during an early Thursday burglary.

At approximately 1:50 a.m., the criminals broke through a window to enter the showroom, according to Liz Sonnenberg, owner of the designer retail establishment. It was a signal from her Ring security system that alerted her to the break-in.

In an interview with NJ.com, Sonnenberg recalled the moment she discovered the showroom had been compromised, saying, “So I grabbed my phone half asleep and clicked the notification.”

Sonnenberg called her father, who lives close, while her husband promptly called the police. According to reports, her father tried to chase a car that was speeding away on Route 15. When the car started moving at about 100 mph, the pursuit came to a stop close to Denville.

Although the event is being investigated by local police, no details on the suspects or the car involved have been made public.

Police are searching for criminals who stole designer products worth six figures after a bold crime left a New Jersey business owner in shock.
