Wicomico County deputies search for missing Salisbury man last seen in July


SALISBURY, Md. — Authorities in Wicomico County are asking for the public’s help in locating Richard David Beals Jr., who was reported missing this week, according to a statement from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office.

Beals, 52, is described as a White male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing around 145 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. A clothing description was not provided by officials.

The sheriff’s office stated that Beals, who is homeless and transient, was last seen around July 17 in a wooded area near Still Meadow Boulevard in Salisbury. Deputies were notified of his disappearance on October 19 at 11:44 a.m., more than three months after the last sighting, according to the report.


Anyone with information regarding Beals’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office at 410-548-4891. Anonymous tips can be submitted through the sheriff’s office app, website, or by calling Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.
