Wilkes-Barre Police Respond to Assault Incident


Wilkes-Barre, PA – The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department reported an assault incident that took place on Wednesday. Officers responded to a domestic dispute at Reno Court at 8:13 p.m.

The incident involved defendant Hailey Ford, 23, from Wilkes-Barre Township, and a 23-year-old male victim from Wilkes-Barre. The victim told officers that a verbal altercation with Ford resulted in him being punched in the face with a closed fist.

Upon inspection, officers confirmed the victim had injuries consistent with his account of the event. Following this, Ford was detained and transported to City Headquarters for further processing and arraignment.
