Colorful Clearwater wants YOUR photo submissions for its Spring Photo Contest!
What kind of pictures, you may ask? It’s up to you!
What is your interpretation of Spring? Is it Spring Break? Spring Training? Flowers or baby animals? What about a holiday, such as Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day or Easter? Let’s see your best photos!
The 1st Prize winner will receive FOUR tickets to the 2023 Bay Area Renaissance Festival in Dade City, Florida. That’s almost an $80 prize value!
The 2nd Prize winner will receive TWO tickets to the 2023 Bay Area Renaissance Festival.
Submit your photos by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023. The winners will be notified by email right away and will be mailed the tickets the following morning– just in time to make it to the next Ren Fest weekend (or on one of the following two weekends!)
Send up to THREE photo submissions per person to kellyshannonkelly@yahoo.com by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday March 12, 2023. Identify the location where the photo was taken, the title of the photo, along with your name, email address and address to which tickets will be sent, provided your entry is the winner.
All photo entries must be taken by the person submitting the photo and must agree to have submissions be used on ColorfulClearwater.com and on the Colorful Clearwater Facebook page and group.
The Bay Area Renaissance Festival takes place on weekends through Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. rain or shine and parking is free. Children 4 and under are free.
Step back in time to a 16th century village with artisans, jousting, non-mechanical rides, games such as archery and ax, knife or spear throwing, artisans, stage performers, chess field, pony rides, a maze, wrestling mud pit and more!
And the food? Did I mention the food? Chomp on a turkey leg or munch on unicorn cake. Partake of a pint of ale (or two). For more food options, visit https://www.bayarearenfest.com/food.
Each weekend is a different theme. For instance, this coming weekend is Viking Invasion, where all barbarians are welcome to join in the village plunder! For an extra cost, you can add Royal Events, such as a Pub Crawl ($35 pp), Brunch at the Joust ($25 pp), or Romance Package ($150 per couple).
