BEACON, New York The New York Lottery said Thursday that a Take 5 Evening top-prize ticket valued at $31,707 had been sold in Beacon for the drawing on November 21.

All In One Foodmart, 1020 Wolcott Avenue, Beacon, is where the winning ticket was bought. To win the highest reward in the game, the fortunate player had to match all five of the numbers that were drawn.

Take 5 numbers are chosen from a field of 1 through 39 and are drawn twice a day at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. The winners can pick up their reward within a year of the drawing date.
