Wisconsin Snowfall Forecast: Up to 4 Inches Expected Saturday

Milwaukee, Wisconsin Parts of Wisconsin might receive up to four inches of snow on Saturday due to weekend snowfall. While regions close to the Illinois border will have lesser amounts with a potential wintry mix, central and east-central Wisconsin will see the highest totals.

The Milwaukee-based National Weather Service predicts that snow will begin to fall in southern Wisconsin in the middle of the morning and last throughout the afternoon. By early evening, snow will start to taper off from the west to the east. Although there are no winter weather advisories in force, officials advise passengers to keep an eye on the situation.

Although blowing snow is not anticipated, high snowfall rates may make it harder to see. Particularly in regions with mixed precipitation, road conditions may turn slick.

On Saturday, the temperature will stay in the low 30s, and on Sunday, it will slightly decrease. There won’t be any severe cold, and the winds will be mild.

Checking the state of the roads and keeping an emergency kit on hand are two precautions that drivers should take. Plans for weekend travel may be impacted by snowfall, particularly in places where accumulation is more severe.
