Pittsburgh, PA – The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a woman with addresses in Pittsburgh and Irwin. The woman, Carley Johnson, was apprehended on warrants including an aggravated assault charge involving a child.
Carley Johnson, 27, has been a fugitive since April after not appearing in Westmoreland County Court for robbery and simple assault charges. She also faces charges from Mt. Lebanon for prostitution, a theft charge from West Mifflin, and an aggravated assault charge in Pittsburgh where the victim is a 2-year-old boy.
Detectives received information this week leading to Johnson’s location in the West End of Pittsburgh. On Thursday, at approximately 8:30 a.m., detectives approached a residence on Crucible Street.
Upon entry, they found Johnson hiding under a stack of blankets. She was taken into custody without incident and is now in the Allegheny County Jail.
