Brooklyn, New York. A woman who reportedly robbed a Brooklyn spa staffer at knifepoint following a facial treatment last month is being sought by the NYPD, according to authorities.
At at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, May 16, the event took place inside a business building at 1304 Fulton Street in the 79th Precinct. When pressed for payment, the unnamed woman allegedly refused to pay for the cosmetic procedure.
Instead, according to officials, the guy stole $400 from a female employee, 48, while brandishing a knife. Then the woman walked away from the scene. There were no reported injuries related to the robbery.
According to police, the suspect was a woman who was last seen sporting a black hooded sweatshirt and a red bonnet over her hair. The NYPD is requesting the public’s help in identifying the woman after releasing a photograph of her.
The inquiry is still under progress. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline, according to authorities.
