Woman struck and killed while crossing street in Baltimore

Baltimore, Maryland According to authorities, a 60-year-old lady died Friday night in Baltimore’s Eastern District after being hit by a car.

The event happened in the 1900 block of Belair Road on November 29 at around 6:55 p.m. The woman was struck while trying to cross the street and was located by responding authorities with multiple injuries.

Authorities say the victim passed away from her wounds after being taken by ambulance to a neighboring hospital.

The vehicle’s driver stayed on the site and is assisting investigators. The matter is being handled by the Accident Investigation Unit of the Baltimore Police Department.
