88-year-old woman dies after Foxhall Road crash


WASHINGTON, D.C. — An 88-year-old Northwest D.C. woman has died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash on Foxhall Road NW last week, police said Friday. Francoise Parmentier was driving northbound on the 1800 block of Foxhall Road around 1:00 a.m. on October 24 when her car struck a curb, went out of control, and collided with a tree.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Parmentier to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries on October 30.
