Md. Pikesville. The shooting death of 20-year-old Caron Means in the unit block of Hawthorne Avenue on Thursday afternoon is being investigated by Baltimore County Police.
At at 2:45 p.m., Pikesville Precinct officers were called to a shooting scene. When they arrived, they discovered Means wounded by a gunshot. After being taken to a neighboring hospital, he was declared deceased.
The public was reassured by detectives that there is no continuing threat to the neighborhood and that the shooting was an isolated occurrence.
Police are still investigating Means’ death and trying to ascertain what caused it.
