Amber Alert canceled: Three missing children found safe in Virginia

Fishersville, Virginia. Three children, ages ten, eight, and six, were found safe, so authorities rescinded the Amber Alert that had been issued earlier Thursday morning. They were reported abducted around 7:45 a.m. at a bus stop at Bobby’s Way Apartment Complex in Fishersville, which prompted the alarm.

Declaring that the children were thought to be in grave danger, the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office issued the notice with help from the Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse. According to officials, the kids might have been traveling in a black, more recent Nissan Sentra with their biological mother.

The alert was canceled soon after the youngsters recovered, and Sheriff Donald L. Smith reported that they were located uninjured. No other information regarding their recuperation or their mother’s involvement has been made public.
