Chris Christie defends January 6 prosecutors, encouraging lawsuits against Trump

WashingtonIn his defense of federal prosecutors involved in the January 6 probes, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie denied allegations of prejudice and threatened legal action should a future Trump government remove them.

Christie asserted in statements about Donald Trump’s possible attempts to restructure the FBI and other federal agencies that the prosecution’s work had been supported by court convictions.

According to Christie, they do not want you to volunteer as a self-select for an investigation since that could indicate that you are biased. You choose these individuals when you go. Therefore, their supervisors gave them instructions to work on the cases from January 6. And what was the outcome of that?

“Hundreds of convictions before juries and judges appointed by both Democratic and Republican administrations,” he added. What specifically was not known about the probes and their work, then, are they stating?

Christie said prosecutors might file a lawsuit if they are fired or removed in an inappropriate manner. What will happen to these people who don’t leave willingly, he continued, is that they will submit complaints and lawsuits, which they will eventually win.
