Washington, D.C. A suspect in an armed robbery that took place in Southeast Washington earlier this month is being sought by authorities, who are requesting the public’s help in identifying the perpetrator.
A suspect approached a victim in the 700 block of South Capitol Street, Southeast, on Tuesday, June 10, at around 2:43 p.m. The suspect demanded the victim’s belongings while brandishing a weapon. The suspect left the scene with the stolen goods after the victim complied.
In an attempt to generate leads, authorities have released an image of the suspect from the security footage of the incident. During the heist, no injuries were recorded.
Investigators have not released any other information regarding the stolen stuff or the suspect’s path following the robbery, and as of Tuesday, the suspect is still unidentified.
