An investigation into narcotics activity on Skid Row resulted in the seizure of 43 pounds of crystal meth by the Los Angeles Police Department.
As stated by Lillian Carranza, who works for the Los Angeles Police Department, drug busts of this magnitude were formerly carried out by Major Narcotics, but they are now becoming more prevalent.
The officers not only took possession of the methamphetamine, but they also were able to seize $11,000, a pistol, and arrest at least one individual.
“How many deaths, overdoses and crimes prevented? Drug dealers come from other areas to pray on those addicted to drugs in Skid Row,” Carranza wrote on X.
How many deaths, overdoses and crimes prevented? In the past, this used to be a seizure by Major Narcotics. These days is so much more common. Thank you @LAPDCentral #NED Narcotics Enforcement Detail. Code 4 suspect in custody. 43 pounds of crystal meth
