Couple Removed from Florida Flight After Man Boards with Bloody Head, Refuses to Leave when Asked

A couple was apprehended at a Florida airport on Tuesday after they declined to disembark from an American Airlines flight, despite the crew’s growing concern over the man’s injured head.

According to local reports, police officers escorted the pair off a plane bound for Las Vegas at Miami International Airport. Crew members had become concerned about a potential bio-hazard.

A live video streamed by his wife on TikTok captured Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier, 27, boarding the plane with a bloody head and a loosely attached bandage.

According to Local10, the crew members requested that he tidy up the area, which seemed to be the result of a hair transplant surgery, and change his bandages. However, he explained that he didn’t have any spare ones to do so.

According to arrest records reviewed by the local news station, they informed him that he needed to deboard the plane due to concerns about his medical condition and the potential for contamination inside the cabin.

However, he and his 32-year-old wife, Yusleydis Blanca Loyola, declined to comply, according to the police.

According to the report, Loyola allegedly made a statement suggesting that if she and her husband were unable to fly, nobody else would be able to either.

The American Airlines crew contacted law enforcement, who subsequently boarded the plane and requested the couple to depart.

Despite their protests, the individuals were ultimately restrained by the police and forcibly removed. Loyola can be heard shouting in Spanish, explaining that her husband had recently undergone surgery and the substance was dried blood, as seen in TikTok videos.

The other passengers on the flight, who were also required to deplane due to health concerns, expressed their support and joy by cheering and clapping as Loyola and her husband walked through the gate. Loyola captured the emotional moment on camera, visibly moved by the experience.

The husband and wife were initially taken to the hospital for evaluation of their bleeding and later transferred to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to authorities.

Loyola underwent cosmetic surgery during her time in Miami, as seen in the videos she shared on TikTok under the username “La Pony.”

Some commenters mentioned that they were not given medical clearance to fly prior to boarding the plane for their return trip to Vegas, shortly after their surgeries.
