Georgia Deputies Rescue 3 Kids in Human Trafficking Operation in Norcross; Rescued Kids are Reported Missing GCSO

During a human trafficking operation in Norcross, deputies from Gwinnett County were able to safely rescue three children.

The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office’s Trafficking and Child Exploitation (TRACE) Unit allegedly carried out the operation.

Deputies from Gwinnett County recovered three minors who had been reported missing by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, as stated by the sheriff. The operation had taken place at a site near Oakbrook Parkway.

Mosaic Georgia and Children’s Hospital of Atlanta provided treatment and assistance to the three victims. Concerning the three victims’ custody, the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services is currently active.

“The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding our community and will continue to tirelessly pursue individuals who seek to exploit children,” the agency said in a statement.
