One Week After School Bus Shooting Police Still Searching for Fugitive Gunman


COATESVILLE, Pa. — Authorities are investigating an attempted homicide after shots were fired at a school bus on Thursday afternoon in Coatesville. The incident occurred around 2:29 p.m. near the intersection of Hope Avenue and Charles Street.

The school bus, which was occupied by the driver and several students, was hit by gunfire, though no one on board was injured. According to law enforcement, four individuals wearing masks were involved in the attack. Two of the suspects fired shots before all four fled the scene.

One suspect has been taken into custody, while three others remain at large. Investigators from the Pennsylvania State Police, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, and the Coatesville Police Department are leading the inquiry.
