Teen girls shot in East Baltimore walk into hospital for help

Baltimore, Maryland. Following their arrival at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds, two female victims of an early Sunday shooting in the Eastern District were the subject of a police inquiry.

Following a report of walk-in shooting victims, Eastern District patrol officers were notified to the hospital at around 12:09 a.m. on June 22. When officers arrived, they found two females, ages 17 and 18, who were both injured but not seriously.

The incident had place in the 2600 block of Erdman Avenue, detectives eventually concluded. No one has been arrested despite the fact that evidence was found at the spot.

Police have not revealed any suspect descriptions or possible motives, nor have they revealed the victims’ identities.

Detectives from the Eastern District are still looking into the matter and are asking anyone with information to call them at 410-396-2433.
