Utah Woman Leads Police on Wild Chase After Refusing Traffic Stop in Lexus; Had Several Arrest Warrants

Utah Woman Leads Police on Wild Chase After Refusing Traffic Stop in Lexus RX350

When approached by police in Kaysville, Utah, a woman driving a Lexus RX350 reportedly “did not want to deal” with them. As a result, she declined to stop. This came after it was claimed she nearly started an accident, which gave the police justification to conduct a traffic stop. Rather, what transpired was an intense police pursuit throughout multiple cities.

Everything is captured on dashcam footage from the Kaysville Police Department that was obtained by KSL, a local news station. The woman cuts it off when she doesn’t see the car next to her crossover and gives the right signal. Luckily, the other motorist recognizes the threat and applies the brakes to prevent a crash.

Even though it’s a small issue, the cop pulls her over for it. She first pulls into a parking lot of a company, rolls down her window, and talks with the officer. However, you can tell that she still has the Lexus in drive because her brake lights are on.

She just drives off, as is predictable, and the pursuit starts. She attempts to flee by simply running stop signs and red lights, as we have witnessed from a great number of suspects. However, let’s face it: an outdated RX350 is not a sporty sports car; rather, it’s a granny car.

Nevertheless, this woman pushes it, taking off for the interstate as additional police arrive. The crossover is able to be stopped by boxing it in, but you already know what that entails because the brake lights are still on.

Just as an officer tries to place Stop Sticks in front of her tires, she runs off again, despite the fact that she is being held at gunpoint by the police. It’s unfortunate that they didn’t immediately set down some Tire Terminators upon stopping.

Then, we assume without knowing the route she takes, she exits the freeway and travels all the way to the landfill. because she isn’t thinking; she is just acting. Wonderful.

A Utah Highway Patrol officer gives the Lexus a hard whack with his push bar as she’s exiting the landfill, but it doesn’t stop the pursuit. However, the cops down the road are prepared with their Stop Sticks and are able to repeatedly smash her tires. We don’t think we’ve ever seen a Stop Stick assault like that before.

When the woman tries to start the Lexus while skating about on the rims of her wheels, a UHP unit performs a low-speed PIT, putting a stop to the pursuit. The drama isn’t finished, though, because she won’t come out of the opulent crossover, forcing the police to pepperball and then arrest her.

According to KSL, it turns out that the lady who just refused to interact with the police had several outstanding arrest warrants. That’s one of the main causes of the fleeing that we have observed. However, the woman informed the policeman in an affidavit that “she did not want to deal with it” was the reason she fled the traffic check.
